may/june scrapbook
Jul. 1st, 2021 01:43 pmChanging the format of these to be more highlights and less comprehensive!
Anyway, things these past two months have been kind of a lot. Here's a few things I've been reading and watching.
Highlights from May and June's playlists.
May:
Je ne sais pas by Lous and The Yakuza, Sfera Ebbasta, Shablo
White Ferrari by Frank Ocean
Dive Into You by NCT DREAM
June:
The Dip by Ziúr
Mr. Bass by A.C.E.
The King by Sarah Kinsley
Guardian
Objectively I would not recommend this drama to anyone unless they like the tropes it has. The pacing is a mess and the character arcs don't make sense. Yes, I'm doing a rewatch.
Kingdom: Legendary War
Also would not recommend this, but I did watch all of it?
Even More TBZ
My favorite has probably been this video. A BOYLOG: Q Cam moment can be so fun. Thread of interviews from the BYOK interviews too.
Chuang 2021
I have no idea what happened, but I definitely did watch all like 30+ hours of this over the span of a week or two. What can I tell you, it's compelling, and I watched it with friends.
I've been thinking about this poem recently. I liked it on first read, but on the second and third, I don't know. It's stuck with me.
I started using last.fm for the first time during June, so here's a breakdown of my stats from that.

I have no idea what I've read these past two month? Mostly textbooks? I had a hard time filling this part out.

(M, Lee Jaehyun | Hyunjae/Lee Juyeon/Son Youngjae | Eric, The Boyz
Summary: Eric wakes up naked in the woods.
Maybe he had a really big night. Or maybe he's a werewolf.)
"I don't really remember what happened last night," Eric admits after a moment. He's suddenly struck by the fear that he did fuck this guy and has totally forgotten about it. Did they have wild horny sex in the woods? It seems unlikely but... "Did we by any chance, uh, did we -"
Jaehyun does laugh out loud this time, though not in a mean way. He seems to think the whole idea is very funny.
"Look, I was just asking!" Eric says, mortified.
We Just Go Hard by misspamela
(T, Ju Haknyeon/Lee Sangyeon, The Boyz
Summary: There is a sit-up contest and then there is kissing.)
"What," Sangyeon says. "Wait. Who is kissing who."
"Loser has to kiss the winner," Sunwoo says, just as Younghoon says happily, "Winner gets to kiss the loser."
"I like that second one," Haknyeon says, grinning. "What do you think, hyung? A kiss for every...let's say five sit-ups?"
